A Bottled Sculpted From Black Salt
To embody this new intensity, designer Tokujin Yoshioka has once again reinterpreted the signature Le Sel d’Issey bottle.
Inspired by the meeting of the elements, it appears sculpted from dark-coloured salt crystals, as if they had been smoked. The cap is a deep, glossy black, while the glass is tinted with a brown gradient evoking mineral warmth. Light filters through the glass like a breath. The fluid yet strong lines express the very tension of the fragrance: a continuous movement in which extremes clash.
In keeping with the bottle, the case reflects this same energy: a very deep brown hue with a deliberate matt finish, silver lettering, and a texture reminiscent of the roughness of salt crystals and the depth of the elements.
When Nature Inspires Creation
True to the values of Issey Miyake, Le Sel d’Issey Parfum forms part of a broader sustainable commitment. Made in France, the formula for Le Sel d’Issey Parfum is certified vegan and is composed of 92% natural ingredients, including oak moss. It also contains an upcycled ingredient, obtained from patchouli leaves. The alcohol mixed blended with the fragrance concentrate is of natural origin and sourced exclusively from French production.
The bottle is made from 20% recycled glass,* while preserving exceptional purity and brilliance. And as with Le Sel d’Issey Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum, the cardboard box incorporates 10% recycled seaweed of natural origin.
